A plant that specializes in the fabrication of square pipes is known as a square pipe making machine factory. These pipes, formed in the shape of a cube, are employed in many industries – from construction to automotive to plumbing. Depending on the desired end product, they are created out of a variety of materials, such as steel, aluminum, and even plastic. Constructing this special type of pipe follows a process almost identical to the one used for round pipes, with slight modifications to accommodate the change in build.
To get materials ready for manufacture, they have to be cut down to the necessary size. Steel pipework usually calls for a band saw, whereas other stuff like aluminum or plastic requires a CNC router. After that, they are sent off to a press so they can be shaped into a square shape.
After being molded into the appropriate shape, the pipes are trimmed to their correct length and the sharp edges are smoothed out. Succeeding this, TIG welding is implemented to join the pipes together. To confirm their integrity, the joined pipes then go through a pressurized evaluation in a testing station.
Following successful pressurization, the pipes go through a coating process that employs various substances such as paint, plastics, and metal. The concoction used is dependent on the purpose for which the pipe is intended; and upon completion, it is cut to required size and sent off for delivery.
